Ajibade Academic Publishing supports authors’ ability to share their work through institutional and subject repositories, while protecting the commercial sustainability of our catalogue. The following policy applies to all book titles published by Ajibade Academic Publishing.
Authors and their institutions may deposit the Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM), the author’s final peer-reviewed version prior to copyediting and typesetting, of one chapter from a published book.
Deposit of a complete book manuscript is not permitted unless that title is separately published under an open licence.
A standard embargo of 12 months from the date of first publication applies before the deposited chapter may be made openly accessible.
Institutional exceptions may be granted at the publisher’s discretion; authors or repositories seeking a reduced or waived embargo should contact us directly to discuss.
Deposited chapters may be made available under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence (attribution required, no commercial use, no derivative works), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All deposited material must include a full bibliographic citation of the published book, including title, author, edition, publisher, and DOI.
